Rachel B. Lim, DDS, MD

Dr. Lim was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of California Los Angeles School of Dentistry. She then matched to the University of Washington’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program, and obtained her medical degree (MD) from the UW School of Medicine. During her training, she completed 2 years of general surgery, treating and managing trauma patients as well as a variety of complex medical conditions. She gained training in full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Harborview Medical Center and UW associated hospitals – including Northwest Medical Center,  Seattle Children’s Hospital, VA Puget Sound, and Swedish Medical Center.

Dr. Lim is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and an affiliate faculty at the University of Washington. Her clinical interests include wisdom tooth removal, dental implant surgery and facial cosmetic surgery.

She enjoys spending time in nature with her husband and adorable dog Maisie – running, hiking, and backpacking. As a new mom, she is excited to show her baby girl everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
